Because every child deserves a new book and the gift of literacy, Underground Books has created the Angel Tree Project.  The Angel Tree provides free culturally relevant books for students in grades K-8 for children in Oak Park.

In addition to providing over 300 books to low-income students, The Angel Tree also greatly supports Underground Books, a local black-owned business in Oak Park. 

You can support the The Angel Tree by selecting from a list of current books and making a purchase that will be given to children during literacy events throughout the year!
