This past December, 9^th grade scholars with the highest GPA of Sac High’s Class of 2021 were rewarded with a special “Golden Ticket” inviting them to a fancy trip downtown!  

The students started off the evening by representing Sac High at the Strong Youth, Strong Community summit. The event, sponsored by Urban League and HealthNet, provided a safe space for students to talk about how to combat bullying in their communities and strategies for students to help build a better culture at their own high school. Students also heard from NFL Hall of Famers like Darrell Green on how to find real-life success both on and off the field.

Following the summit, students were treated with seats at the Kings vs. 76ers game at the Golden 1 Center. While the evening was filled with many super star athletes, it was our students who shined brightest as our local heroes. Congratulations to these Dragons soaring on the path to college. We couldn’t be more proud!
