Kristen Meyer’s passion for education started when she was young, but continued to grow as she saw the inequities too many students faced. She says she is empowered by her team’s dedication to holistically support all scholars, saying “we share the same belief that our roles are not only to create great students but great people who can one day change the world.”

Kristen is currently the PS7 Middle Site Lead. Prior to joining the leadership team, she taught middle and high school math and worked at the Boys and Girls Club. Kristen says her favorite thing about working at St. HOPE is the strong teaching community, “our team members are always working collaboratively and are consistently seeking innovative ways to support our scholars with a whatever it takes mindset!”

Originally from Santa Barbara, Kristen received her Bachelor’s Degree from Chico State and a Master’s Degree from UC Santa Barbara.  In free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
