Sac High Recognized as Honor Roll School by Educational Results Partnership

Post

We are thrilled that Sac High was named to the Educational Results Partnership (ERP) Honor Roll, which recognizes top schools in California that have outperformed their peers in closing achievement gaps, particularly among higher-poverty and historically disadvantaged student populations.

Sac High is one of two high schools in Sacramento City Unified School District to receive this honor. Of the two SCUSD high schools to make the Honor Roll, Sac High is the only one that admits all students and does not require academic testing or screening for admission. This year 1,430 schools in California made the Honor Roll. This is approximately 17 percent of all eligible schools in the state.

The ERP Honor Roll utilizes public school student achievement data from 2019 through 2023 to identify successful schools and districts. Sac High stands above others in the state because of our demonstrated ability to get students to grade-level achievement and beyond.

Our student population is predominantly Black and Latino and many of our scholars are the first in their family to go to college. Having Sac High be named an Honor Roll school is testament to our unwavering commitment to ensuring our scholars are prepared for college and career success.
