I hope that you all are having a good summer and are staying cool as we weather the hot temperatures. We wrapped up a fantastic school year at PS7 and Sac High – please check out our 2023-24 highlights video that features our scholars’ successes and showcases our schools’ innovative and exciting programs. With our new school year about to begin, our St. HOPE Public Schools’ summer programming is wrapping up as scholars enjoyed field trips, sports, and weekly themed enrichment activities. Our first ever St. HOPE Inspire U Academy was very successful – we have provided FREE 2-week camps for scholars to participate in swimming, dance, art, music, cooking, and STEAM activities as well as swim lessons! We also had scholars participating in credit recovery and academic programs so that they can get additional support before the next school year.

Earlier this summer we hosted the 4th annual Juneteenth Block Party. It was a wonderful community celebration that featured activities for everyone, including a kids zone, live music, black-owned vendors, cultural activities and of course amazing food! Check out our Juneteenth Block Party highlight video and please mark your calendar to join us next year at 40 Acres to commemorate this important holiday.
